Prescriptions and Monitor

The Prescriptions screen allows you to enter prescriptions for medications and the monitor. Fill in the amount and dosage for medications, or fill in heart rate and delay settings for the monitor. Press the Find button to see all prescriptions for this patient. Exit the Find window to see the detail of a particular one.

Frequency options for the monitor include 24 hours, and combinations of Night/Naps/Car.

The Monitor Information screen is displayed by pressing the Monitor button on the Patient Registration screen (Figure 1). It shows the start and end date of monitor use, the Homecare Company, and details of the latest monitor prescription written. Clicking on the Homecare Company field displays a Provider screen (Figure 2) showing details about the company. AIM records the company name, contact, address, and phone number.
